Camping: Lakeview Park – Village of Rib Lake

Lakeview Park accommodates both campers and tent camping. We have 27 sites available for tents, campers, 5th wheel and pull behind trailers. All sites have water and electrical hook-ups. 7 sites have 50 amp electrical, while the remaining 20 have 20/30 amp electrical. All sites are located in the wooded park on a hilltop above scenic Rib Lake. View Campground Map

This is a complete camping facility with indoor bathrooms and showers. There is also a full playground to entertain the kids. Also on site are two volleyball courts and horseshoe pits. These are all free of charge. If you are in need of a facility to host a party, inquire about the pavilion to rent. A camp host is on site to address any issues.

Rib Lake is a 320 acre lake located in Taylor County. Visitors have access to the lake from two public boat landings and three public docks that are wheel chair accessible. The Lake is located within 1000 feet of Lakeview Park. Bring your fishing gear for a chance to catch Musky, Panfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike and Walleye.

Camping: Pine Island on Rib Lake

Pine Island campground is a primitive camping site. The location is a two acre island located in the southeast corner of Rib Lake’s 320 acre lake. There are three sites set up for tent camping, which include fire rings. It is a perfect location to have privacy and experience remote camping. You will need a boat, canoe or kayak to access the island and begin this unique camping experience.

Rib Lake Fish and Game has created a roof shelter and cooking grill for camper use. Please take care of this equipment so it can be used for years to come. Also remember to leave no trace – Everything you bring into the sites must be removed when you leave. Camping here is free on first come basis, no reservations required.
