Rib Lake - Spring Season

For campers, Rib Lake Lakeview Tourist Park opens May 1, 2006 for the season. Here is a scenic view overlooking Rib Lake.

Now that the warmer weather is here, so are the choices for many outdoor recreational activites. From fishing, to hiking, and biking there are many ways to have fun!

The fishing season opener, Saturday, May 7, 2005 began with ideal conditions-a gentle light SW breeze, a mix of sun and clouds. As of 9:30 a.m. walleyes over the 15 inch limit are being caught on Rib Lake. Enjoy!

Another sure sign of spring is the annual bird migration. As they move north for the summer, a variety of wildlife make a "rest stop" at Rib Lake. Here are some photos of White Swans on Rib Lake.
