Ways to earn punches
Every business participates a little differently. Here are all the ways you can earn a punch on your card this summer.
Where to Earn Your Punches
-
Pick up a free card at the Rib Lake Community Development Foundation table on July 14 at Music in the Park or grab one at any of these participating businesses: Camp 28, TBD
-
Nope, participation is completely free. Just pick up a card and start exploring. Some punches involve a purchase, but many don't cost a thing.
-
As many as you like, just visit different businesses. You can earn one punch per business per day, so the more places you explore, the more punches you rack up.
-
Show your love! Leave a positive Google review for any Punch & Play business, show proof in person, and earn a punch. Every business on the list is an option for a review, one punch per business. No storefront? No problem. Stop in at Camp 28 and they'll punch your card for that Google review.
Here's how to leave a review: You'll need a free Google account . Create one at google.com if you don't have one.
On your phone: search the business name in Google or open Google Maps, tap their listing, scroll to "Write a review," tap the stars, add a few kind words and hit Post.
On a computer: search the business name in Google, find their listing on the right side of the screen, click "Write a review," choose your star rating, write a short comment, and click Post.
Once posted, just show proof on your screen or a screenshot when you visit.
-
There are two self-serve punch stations on the Ice Age Trail this summer:
Moose Mountain bench — East Lake Section
Tank's bench — Rib Lake Section
Just find the station at each bench, punch your card, and keep exploring. That's two punches you can earn just by hitting the trail!
-
Drop your completed card at the Development Foundation table at the Music in the Park “Logan Spicer” concert at on August 11 by 6:30 pm.
Or at any of the following locations during normal business hours until August 10th:
Camp 28
Lakewood Credit Union
Cards must be received by 6:30 PM on August 11 to be entered in the drawing. No exceptions.
-
Absolutely! There's no limit. The more businesses you visit, the more cards you can complete, and each completed card is a separate entry into the prize drawing. Keep exploring throughout the summer!
-
Prizes will be announced and awarded live at the August 11 Music in the Park wrap-up concert. Can't make it? No problem, unclaimed prizes will be available for pickup at Camp 28 during regular open hours.
