Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 5th, 2007 for a day of fishing fun. This day is the traditional seaon starter. With warmer water temperatures, fish are biting.

Rib Lake - Spring and Summer Fishing Action

Towards the end of last season, a second boat launch ramp opened on Rib Lake at the former 'Hot Pond' location. The ramp is located on the north side of the lake between Camp 28 and downtown Rib Lake.

This fully functional boat ramp has a paved surface and lighting for after-dark use. Along with other groups, members of the Rib Lake Fish and Game Association were instrumental in this project to enhance fishing for Rib Lake.

Rib Lake Fish and Game Ice Fishing Contest.

Here are pictures from this past winter's contest. Doubt no more, there is good fishing at Rib Lake, even on 'A Cold Day in January'! Dress warmly and enjoy.
